Course Outline & Objectives

This course introduces the Siemens KTP700 HMI & Siemens WinCC HMI (TIA Portal) programming software together with a system overview of the Siemens HMI, which includes hardware & software components, plus system configuration issues. The course concentrates on Siemens KTP HMI hardware & TIA Portal programming software.

The WinCC TIA HMI software diagnostic tools & programming instructions are included in the course to guide the delegate through the management of a realistic application.

The course consists of instructor-led tuition & discussions focusing heavily on practical hands-on sessions. Demonstration exercises are included & allow delegates to practice tasks such as testing, debugging & fault finding using (TIA Portal) programming tools. Programming theory is included, and the course is hands-on with great emphasis on the practical aspects of the Siemens WinCC HMI application.
